A native of Pennsylvania, Jason Moore holds degrees from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Organ Performance and from the University of Arizona in Choral Conducting. Jason is currently the Music Director at Newtown Presbyterian Church near Philadelphia, PA where he facilitates a large suburban sacred music program featuring two adult choirs, handbell ensemble, youth choirs. Jason leads a staff of 6 professional musicians and manages the church concert series. He is also the head of music ensembles for Philadelphia University where he conducts the Philadelphia University Singers and Chamber Orchestra.

Jason has studied both choral and orchestral conducting and has held conducting appointments with the Mendelssohn Club Chorus of Philadelphia and the MasterSingers Chorale of Tucson, AZ. He has also lead choirs at the University of Arizona as well as served as a rehearsal conductor for the Providence Singers and the Jr. Providence Singers in Providence, RI. In 2006 he was invited to conduct in the University of Arizonaís Holiday Card to Tucson. Jasonís instructors include Dr. Bruce Chamberlain, Dr. Elizabeth Schauer, Mr. Maurice Peress, Mr. Andrew Clark and Mr. James Dearing.

As an organist, Jason has served churches in Arizona, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island. He was invited to play for the Tucson chapter of the American Guild of Organists in December of 2006 and has been a guest organist at numerous churches including historic Baptists Churches in both Warren and Bristol, Rhode Island. Jason has studied with organists Dr. Carol Teti, Dr. Christine Clewell and Mr. Peter Sykes.

Jason has also enjoyed performing as a choral member for several prestigious organizations including the Pittsburgh Symphony, The Boston Pops Orchestra, the Rhode Island Philharmonic and the Tucson Symphony Orchestra. He has had the privilege to accompany choirs at the Pennsylvania State Universities Altoona Campus, The University of Arizona and at Roger Williams University. Jason also enjoys collaborating on solo concerts and has performed with artists such as Chloť Moore, Melynda Davis and Nancy Hood.
